Handgun Basics
Are you new to our club or shooting? Do you want to learn "the right way" to shoot from a professional firearm instructor? If you are ultimately interested in concealed carry, this class is the best way to start your CHP journey and will give you a strong skill foundation.
Our class will provide you with comprehensive training and answer all your questions. Contents include:
handgun and range safety/etiquette;
an introduction to revolvers and semi-automatic handguns;
firearm cycle of operations and malfunction resolution;
explanation of ammunition and the ignition sequence;
hands on, detailed fundamentals of marksmanship with dry fire;
transition to the range and live fire on what you just learned;
basic legalities of owning a firearm, storage, cleaning.
Cost is $200 for this 3.5-4 hour class. Add a rental or two from our fleet for $7-15 and a box of ammunition. Eye and ear protection can be provided or you can bring your own.

Please note: cancellations within 72 hours of the class will result in a 50% rescheduling fee unless we are able to fill the spot on the roster.
