We believe even the most experienced shooters benefit from expert instruction and structured practice. This is why we have established a national-caliber training team and designed courses in precision long-range, tactical carbine, and pistol shooting.
Concealed Carry Refresher Course
Concealed Carry Refresher Course
Colorado HB24-1174 requires that anyone renewing their Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit after July 1, 2025 attend a CCW Refresher Course and Trigger Time Gun Club’s CCW Refresher Course meets these requirements. This three-hour course will include up to two hours of classroom instruction as well as the necessary written exam and live-fire exercise required by this legislation.
You may apply to your local Sheriff’s office for your renewal no more than 120 days prior to your permit expiration and the Refresher Certificate must have been obtained within six months prior to submitting your CCW renewal form.
In order for you to receive your CCW Refresher Training Certificate you must: 1) Attend the full three-hour refresher course, 2) pass the written test, and 3) demonstrate proficiency on the live fire test/target results. You will then provide this Refresher Course certificate, along with any other information that your County Sheriff requires, when you apply for renewal of your CCW Permit.
Please confirm with your County Sheriff prior to class attendance to make sure you understand these new requirements and processes.

Our Pistol Basics class is hosted by NRA certified instructors that will provide you with a overview of handgun operation and ownership. During this eight hour class, many topics revolving around handgun ownership, operation, and proficiency will be discussed. This class is a great introduction to owning, using, and carrying a handgun for protection/self defense practices. The class will start with getting you familiar to the crucial safety surrounding handguns, and how they operate. From there, the class will dive into some of the basic and broad legalities of both handgun ownership and the use of a handgun in a self defense encounter within the State of Colorado. After some training on proper stance and grip for handgun operation, we will move down to the range and practice some live fire shooting with some newly acquired skills. To pass the class, you will need to obtain a passing score on our proficiency test/target to obtain your CCW Training certificate for the State of Colorado. All training in this class conforms with the current Colorado Revised Statues regarding self defense and handgun permit.
If you do not have a handgun, don’t worry! We have a variety of rental handguns that showcase a variety of different sizes and calibers. If you are in need of ammunition, we can help with that.
